Definition: Lip blushing is a type of cosmetic tattooing that semi-permanently enhances lip color and definition of the lip shape by depositing colored pigment into the lips with a digital machine.

Price: $300

Price Breakdown: $100 deposit up to 30 days prior, $100 at 1st session, $100 at touch up 6 to 10 weeks later

Result Length: 1.5 to 2 years

Service Time: 2.5 to 3 hours

Lip Blush is best suited for:

  • those who have lost color to their lips

  • those with scars or discoloration of the lips

  • those looking for lip shape or color correcting

  • those who are active and do not wear makeup on a daily basis and would like their features to pop

  • those looking for their features to pop in general

  Candidate Guidelines                                          

You can not receive Lip Blush if: 

  • Experience cold sores/ herpes simplex virus or fever blisters periodically or occasionally (you may get medication from your doctor to surpass the virus 2 weeks ahead)

  • Autoimmune suppressants and(or) have an autoimmune disease

  • Allergic to artificial color

  • Allergic to Lidocaine, Tetracaine, or Epinephrine

  • Psoriasis, Rash or burn in the procedure area

  • Hemophilia

  • Diabetes

  • Currently undergoing Chemotherapy

  • A tendency to keloid 

You must postpone your Lip Blush appointment if:

  • Had botox or fillers in the last 30 days; book 30 days after

  • Taking blood thinners or fish oil; stop taking 48 hours before

  • Taking antibiotics; book 2 weeks after you are finished

  • Currently have a sunburn or rash or psoriasis in the area we will be working on; book 1 week after the skin is clear and calm

  • Currently pregnant or breastfeeding; book after you are no longer pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Have had an epileptic seizure within 30 days

 

How to prepare for your lip blush appointment:

  • 3 days prior to appointment use a soft lip scrub or oil and sugar to softly exfoliate dead skin from lips and add a generous amount of vaseline for the following 3 days

  • Avoid all blood thinners for 72 hours prior to appointment; aspirin, fish oil, vitamin e, ibuprofen, or other blood thinners like alcohol and caffeine 24 hours prior

  • Do not work out the day of your appointment

Important Notes!

  • Peeling will occur; do not peel, allow to fall naturally or come off with a wet wipe

  • Please take all aftercare very seriously as healed results rely almost entirely on your care for your skin post-procedure

  • Avoid alcohol, chemicals, sun, sweat, makeup, any products with scent or non-natural ingredients for 7 days

  • During a menstrual cycle, you may be more sensitive to pain

  • Healing time is 7-14 days; we all heal differently

How to take care of your lip blush:

Day 1: 

  • Clean and wipe are 1 to 2 times a day 

  • Add vaseline as often as needed to keep lips are as moisturized as possible

  • Do not eat for 1 to 2 hours after your appointment

  • Do not eat anything spicy or very hot for 24 hours, like soup or coffee; OR please use a straw

  • No hot shower that would cause sweat to collect around the treatment area for 24 hours

  • No sun directly on the treatment area for 7 to 10 days

  • No creams with chemicals, scrubs, or SPF for 10 days; ONLY vaseline

  • No lip fillers in or around the treatment area for 3 weeks before or after the appointment

Day 2- 7 

  • Avoid alcohol, chemicals, sun, sweat, makeup, any products with scent or non-natural ingredients for 7 days

  • Keep lips as moist as possible with vaseline and no makeup for at least 7 days
